The name of this winery has a special meaning for its founder: Filippo Figari was his step-grandfather, who immigrated from Genova, Italy at the beginning of the last century to South America.

The winery is located in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, at 980 meters above sea level, in the town of Perdriel, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina.

This is the best zone to produce Malbec wine, which is made from grapes unique to Argentina. The winery was founded in 1937 by Carlos Bertona, who ran it until his death in 1982. The property was abandoned for eighteen years before the current owners started renovating the physical structure, as well as the vineyard. Thirty four acres have been planted whith mainly Malbec, as well as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Sauvignon Blanc, to create distinctive and unique wines year after year.

The winery to date has released wines of the region under the labels of Filippo Figari and MJ Galliard, which were selected and bottled under strict supervision to obtain wines with unique flavors aromas.

These wines are presented to you for your enjoyment.
